Day 1 · San José

Arrival at SJO. Hotel Bougainvillea (1N) — lush garden hotel near the airport.

Day 2 · Drake Bay

Charter flight SJO →︎ Drake Bay (25 min scenic low-altitude flight). Arrive La Paloma Lodge by private boat (3N, full board). Settle in above the bay.

Day 3 · Drake Bay

Guided hike into Corcovado National Park — primary rainforest, chance of jaguar, tapir, 4 species of monkey. (Park entrance fee extra.)

Day 4 · Drake Bay

Caño Island snorkelling & diving — Costa Rica’s finest marine reserve: manta rays, whale sharks, hammerheads. Dolphin & humpback whale watching.

Day 5 · Golfo Dulce

Private boat transfer →︎ Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge (2N, full board). Boat-access only. 165-acre private rainforest reserve on Golfo Dulce.

Day 6 · Golfo Dulce

Kayaking on the Golfo Dulce. Guided rainforest hike on private trails. Night jungle walk — poison dart frogs and kinkajous.
